Let me shout God’s name with a praising song, let me tell his greatness in a prayer of thanks.
Psalms 69:30
For the last six years, I have dreaded the holidays season.
Every year the holidays brought with them a new storm, and every thanksgiving I stood at dinners reminding myself to praise the Lord. I constantly commanded my heart to praise the Lord, no matter the circumstances I was in or the way I was feeling. I needed to remember that even if I couldn’t sing of thanksgiving, He was still worthy of my praise, honor and trust.
This Thanksgiving is different, I can boldly say that:
All things work together for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
Our circumstances haven’t fully changed, but today I can say that I have been able to understand and experience God’s faithfulness in the midst of trials; and seen the fruit trials produce.
As I continue to meditate in all the blessings I have, I can’t stop but fathom at God’s faithfulness through literally all seasons in life. Today, I want to share and rejoice in all the countless blessings, both physical and spiritual, that me and my husband have to thank for this year.

A year ago, my husband and I were on our third year of long-distance marriage. These years were the most difficult and tear-filled years of my life. Everyday I longed to live life by my husband’s side Even though we both agree that these were very difficult years, we are so grateful for the way God worked in our hearts and in our marriage through the distance.

We had the privilege of completing out bachelors degree.

The privilege of spending three months together.

God’s provision in our lives, both physical and spiritual.
Our home and the privilege of opening our home to others. For having found a church and fellowship (friendships).

Opportunity for Steven to attend Dental School.

My job .
For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
